Pretty unsurprisingly, Kristi Yamaguchi won that season’s Dancing with the Stars, given the fact that she’s an Olympic gold medalist figure skater and pretty much kicked ass all through the entire competition. Yamaguchi is the first lady to take home the DWTS trophy since season one, when Kelly Monaco was awarded the mirror-ball.

It came down to a showdown amoung Kristi and professional football player

Jason Taylor, who was hotness personified, after injured Cristian de la Fuente and his partner, Cheryl Burke, were knocked out of the top three.

Of winner Yamaguchi, finalist Jason Taylor had that to say, “Kristi’s been great. I grew up on two things: Wheaties and watching Kristi compete for our country.”
