Clay Aiken Comes Out On QVC

Ok, we’re stretching a bit. Clay Aiken went on QVC to sell his new CD to shut-ins and Claymates who don’t have legs or have fused to their couches but are still within reach of their phones. He performed several songs from the disc, and one of them has some telling lyrics. It’s called “The Real Me” and it goes a little something like that:

Painted on, life is behind a mask
Self-inflicted circus clown
I’m tired of the song and dance
Living a charade, always on parade…

Dude, just come out. It sounds like you want to. We know you’re tired of women with kittens ironed on their sweatshirts approaching you to sign their scrapbooks and thinking you’re into girls. I’m certain you’re grateful for their support, but you shouldn’t have to maintain a lie just so some broad in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota can utilize you as a visual as she gets busy with her hot water bottle.
